The Speed Keyboard Escape Cat in the Hat quest requires collecting six event items from the dispenser, using each item on other players, and raising the Immortascope meter to 100 percent with your server to claim limited event rewards.
Event Overview and Quest Requirements
The Cat in the Hat collaboration appears inside +1 Speed Keyboard Escape | Candy & Chocolate, developed by SecretVerse Studio. Players encounter the Cat in the Hat NPC standing beside a large trailer display and an interactive machine called the Immortascope.
Interacting with the Cat in the Hat reveals two conditions to complete the event quest:
- Collect and use all six special event items.
- Fully fill the Immortascope meter to 100 percent alongside other players in the server.
Completing both objectives grants an official event completion and unlocks the corresponding entry in the list of game badges.
How to Collect the Six Collab Items
All event tools spawn from the mechanical dispenser located directly in the collaboration staging area. A digital countdown timer above the machine indicates when the next item will drop. Because the timer font is relatively small, turning off bright cosmetics like the ghost aura helps keep the counter visible against the background.
When the timer reaches zero, a single tool ejects into the collection area. Any player in the server can pick up the dropped item, so grabbing it quickly is necessary before someone else claims it. Duplicate items drop frequently. Checking your inventory index confirms which tools you have collected and which remain missing.
The dispenser cycles through these six items:
- Confetti Trumpet
- Couch (walking sofa with driver and passenger seats)
- Waffles' Fish Bowl
- Go-Backer
- Thing Box
- Hat Cannon
Item Abilities and Usage Choices
Each tool features unique mechanics designed to interact with nearby players. Activating an item registers it in your event checklist while simultaneously adding charge to the server meter.
| Item | Interaction Style | Operational Limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Confetti Trumpet | Blasting confetti directly at players | Requires standing directly in front of a target |
| Couch | Driving or riding across tracks with seats | Steers erratically and falls off narrow obstacles |
| Hat Cannon | Sucking a player into the hat and firing them | Functions exclusively within the event area |
| Waffles' Fish Bowl | Splashing a puddle that launches runners | Enters a temporary cooldown to recharge |
| Go-Backer | Rewinding the position of items and objects | Reverses movement for everyone in the immediate area |
| Thing Box | Spawning Thing One and Thing Two to slap players | Requires placing the box on open level ground |
The Hat Cannon allows you to point at another player, pull them inside the tall hat, and launch them through the air like a projectile. The Couch spawns a motorized set of furniture with working legs, allowing a driver and passenger to navigate through the course or obstacle stages. Waffles' Fish Bowl splashes water onto the floor, causing anyone who sprints across the puddle to slip and launch into the air. Activating the Go-Backer stopwatch rewinds the physical movements of nearby players, couches, and objects back to their previous locations.
Charging the Immortascope and Claiming Rewards
Using the items once ticks off the first quest requirement in the interface, but the second requirement demands cooperative effort. Every time someone in the server activates an item on a friend or drives the walking couch, the Immortascope percentage increases. Repeating actions such as firing the Hat Cannon or cruising across the lobby on the couch steadily raises the meter from 65 percent toward 100 percent.
Once the meter reaches 100 percent, the cardboard box unlocks to grant event prizes, including the Cat in the Hat badge. The collaboration also distributes official Warner Bros. Pictures items and free UGC accessories, such as the Pig Wig and the Cat in the Hat box cosmetic.
Because UGC rewards have limited stock pools, prizes can temporarily display as sold out. The in-game prize stand lists scheduled stock refill dates and times, allowing players who finished their requirements to return during restock windows. Progress in regular stages and upgrades tracked in the rebirth guide remain separate from event progress, so you can alternate between farming speed and participating in the collab area.
